Another Brick in the Walk

Pete had mentioned that the downtown organization in Bloomsburg was putting new bricks in front of the courthouse. Like with anything he tells me about the goings on in Bloomsburg, I half listened. The other day he said got a tip that the wrong type of brick was used, and that supposedly the names on the bricks would be worn off before long. That turned out not to be true.

But, Saturday, when he said he wanted to go take a look at the bricks during an annual street fair called the Renaissance Jamboree, I assumed it had something to do with the story. So I waited nearby.

Before long he was back and told me he wanted to show me something. I walked over to the courtyard and saw a brick engraved with our names.

I had no idea. And, if he weren't already, now he is most definitely stuck with me forever...
